The master collection was launched in 1959 with the aim of being the collection with the highest technical achievement of the Squale brand in terms of resistance to pressure. In the ‘60s, it already boasted a pressure resistance of up to 100 ATM.

On the occasion of Squale’s sixty-fifth anniversary, we introduce the new Squale Master model in titanium, capable of resisting up to 120 ATM, and destined to remain in the collection for a long time.

TITANIUM AND RESISTANCE

The Squale Master is the first Squale timepiece to be made entirely of grade 5 Titanium. This material, unlike 316L steel, allows for an extremely light watch without altering its technical characteristics.

The 4mm-thick glass and the helium escape valve made it possible to create a product capable of resisting up to 120 ATM.

DIAL AND BEZEL: DETAILS MATTER

The Master model features SuperLuminova Old Radium on the bezel, dial and hands, giving it a similar look to the first Squale Masters from the 1960s, when the luminescence was provided by tritium.

The bezel is in brushed ceramic, while the numbers are in SuperLuminova resulting in perfect readability underwater.

The dial is one-of-a-kind: it is in fact built on three layers.

The bottom layer consists of a disk entirely in SuperLuminova Old Radium, to which a perforated dial is added on top. This process, called “sandwich,” optimizes the luminescence of the indexes.

The third and final layer consists of the applique indexes that outline the cutouts of the dial. Its brushed finish matches the finish on the hands and case.
