KWD 380.000The Alpina Startimer Pilot Big Date is created in the spirit of the original pilot’s watches created by the brand in the 1920’s. Consequently the Startimer has a vintage look.
With a 44mm black PVD stainless steel case, the bezel is minimal. This is to enhance the readability of the dial by making the dial opening as large as possible. The dial which is in matt black has white indexes. These are coated in super luminova for improved legibility. Additionally, a white minute track and super luminova coated hands also enhance the visibility of the dial. A Big Date indicator is at 6 o’clock.
The traditional crown is oversized and shaped for ease of use. Similarly, the chronograph pushers also have a large surface area shaped for comfort and convenience.
The black leather strap has a woven textile upper with stitched sides. Water resistant to 10 bars, the Alpina Startimer Pilot Big Date also has an engraved caseback. Finally, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal completes the look.
