The 2024 Midland is based on a model bearing the same name from the 1980’s with a twist. The overall composition recalls the decade’s bold geometric forms with a new integrated bracelet that blends seamlessly with the tonneau shaped case. The addition of the fluted bezel adds a classic edge and contrast to the smooth brushed elements. The black dial is enhanced with a pyramid guilloche pattern. Appointed with applied baton indexes and hour and minute hands with Super-LumiNova BGW9, timing is always legible at a glance.
With water resistance to 10 atm, the stainless-steel case is sealed with an exhibition case back revealing the automatic movement and DELMA customized rotor. Complete with a folding clasp with pushers, the latest DELMA Midland continues the collection’s pledge to functionality and style that is enjoyable to wear and made to prevail.

The BK7 Crystal has exceptional physical properties, is lead-free, relatively lighter and of higher quality than other glass crystals. Its properties are: low dispersion (with Abbe numbers around 60), the low refractive index (≈1.52) and high clarity. For these reasons, after a long research and development process, we decided to produce the new inserts with Nereide bezel in this material.
Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9 is a phosphorescent pigment, otherwise known as Lume, emits a Blue-Green glow in the dark (as the name suggest) when properly charged by either sunlight or artificial light. In a daylight condition, BGW9 is white in color.
Compared to the much more widespread C1 pigment, the BGW9 has a relative brightness more than triple, making it the most widespread solution in the haute horlogerie.
